PBA-style game settings

Implemented in this build

  • Ten frames with strike and spare bonuses, including tenth-frame fill balls.
  • Regulation 60-foot foul-line-to-headpin distance, 41.5-inch lane width, and 12-inch pin spacing.
  • 2026 Cheetah 35, Chameleon 39, Scorpion 43, Shark 48, and Earl Anthony 42 pattern distances.
  • Fouls score zero for the delivery and restore pins knocked down by that delivery.
  • Two re-racks per game. Televised mode adds a 25-second clock, one warning, and one timeout.
  • A working pinsetter cycle, enclosed pit, and ball return bring the selected ball back to the approach.
  • Top-ten scores and player initials are saved locally in this browser for this website.

How to shape a shot

Feet
Your starting board on the approach.
Target
The board crossed at the arrows, 15 feet beyond the foul line.
Speed
Launch speed. More speed delays hook.
Revs
Rotation rate. More revs increase downlane motion.
Axis
Side rotation that converts friction into hook.
Scope note

Pattern lengths are official 2026 PBA event settings. Oil volume and transition behavior are game-tuned approximations because the PBA may adjust volume for a host center’s surface and topography. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by the PBA.
